Performance Boost – Evesham
Why are we doing Performance Boost?
This initiative supports our strategy to increase efficiency in customer service. We’ll be focusing on areas that need improvement in terms of quality, service, and process losses.
How long will the workshops in Evesham last?
- Week 1 – preparation phase: analysis, team leader training, and observing production processes
- Week 2 – workshops focused on identifying root causes of key issues and creating improvement plans
More than 30 participants from Evesham and central Amcor teams will take part, working in four groups led by group leaders.
What’s our goal?
- Improve process efficiency, service levels, and product quality
- Apply standardized tools and proven methodologies to drive lasting improvements
Which areas will we focus on?
- WH81 – optimizing colour changeovers and material setup, register issues and breakdowns, quality complaints
- COM 1 – improving reel change processes and set ups, quality complaints
What happens after Performance Boost?
- We will implement and maintain the new standards in daily operations
- Performance Boost outcomes will support similar improvements in other sites
- Loss elimination techniques (PFS / UPS / CL) will continue to be used
- Actions will be followed up during DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings
